The heat dried up for Colin Munro and company in recent matches. They have struggled with the bat in particular, failing to cross the 140-run threshold in their last two outings. While the Stars still seek their first win, their batters have shown good form. 

Rooting for a Stars win sounds a bit audacious right now, but we think this match presents the perfect opportunity for the Greens to break the duck.

Renegades to beat Strikers @ $1.80 

The Melbourne Renegades will look to return to winning ways in the new year, but they must better a Adelaide Strikers side that currently sit second in the standings to do so. Looking at their recent performances, we don’t feel much optimism for the away side.

The Renegades have been arguably the most impressive bowling unit this Big Bash season. They have allowed their opponents to score only 217 runs in their last two matches. The Strikers batters have performed impressively, but they might not be able to put enough runs on the board against the Renegades. 

So, we expect the Renegades to win this one, rounding out a beautiful BBL multi bet this week.
