Manchester City’s stunning 4-0 loss to Ange Postecoglou’s Tottenham last week has put Liverpool eight points clear at the top of the Premier League table. The Sky Blues can get back in the race with a win at Anfield this Sunday. However, a loss could kill their chances.
To help you get ready for that big match and all the other fixtures this weekend, we have EPL Matchweek 13 predictions and betting tips for every game.

Brighton & Hove Albion vs. Southampton
American Express Stadium, 7:00 AM, Saturday, November 30
Brighton continued their strong start to the season last week with an impressive 2-1 win over South Coast rivals Bournemouth. Southampton, meanwhile, gave Liverpool a hard battle in a 2-3 loss to the title favourites.
The Seagulls are undefeated in their last five matches against Southampton (3 wins, 2 draws). On the other hand, Brighton have conceded in each of their last five games. That shouldn’t be too big of a concern here though.
Brighton struggle against sides who sit back and counter. Southampton prefer to dominate the ball and try to create chances through possession. Unfortunately for Saints fans, their club isn’t very good at it.
Southampton have the league’s worst attack, with just 9 goals in 12 matches this season. Brighton have scored 9 goals in their last five matches.
All signs point to a Brighton win here.
Brighton vs. Southampton prediction: Brighton 3-1 Southampton
Bookmaker | Tip | Odds |
Brighton -1.5 | $2.05 | |
Both Teams To Score - YES | $1.60
Brighton To WIN & OVER 1.5 Goals | $1.55 |
Predicted Lineups
Brighton: Verbruggen; Veltman, van Hecke, Igor, Estupinan; Wieffer, Ayari; Rutter, Pedro, Mitoma; Welbeck
Southampton: McCarthy; Harwood-Bellis, Downes, Stephens; Walker-Peters, Fernandes, Lallana, Fraser; Dibling, Onuachu, Armstrong
Brentford vs. Leicester City
Gtech Community Stadium, 2:00 AM, Sunday, December 1
Brentford drew 0-0 last weekend with Everton in what some people are calling the dullest match of the season so far. Their match this weekend should be more exciting.
Leicester unsurprisingly lost 1-2 to Chelsea last weekend, and sacked their manager Steve Cooper after the match. The Foxes are 16th in the table, a point above the relegation zone, but do not look like a side that will be in the Premier League next season.
Jamie Vardy’s team are on a five match winless streak. They have scored just five goals in that same period. Leicester have not kept a clean sheet in six straight matches.
The only saving grace for the Foxes here is their strong record versus the Bees. Leicester are undefeated against Brentford since 2020 (4W, 2D). We still don’t think that’s enough to back them here though.
Brentford vs. Leicester City Prediction: Brentford 2-1 Leicester
Bookmaker | Tip | Odds |
Brentford to Score 2+ Goals - YES | $1.55
Brentford to WIN | $1.65 | |
Both Teams To Score - YES | $1.55 |
Predicted Lineups
Brentford: Flekken; van den Berg, Collins, Pinnock, Lewis-Potter; Jensen, Yarmolyuk, Janelt; Mbeumo, Wissa, Schade
Leicester: Hermansen; Justin, Faes, Okoli, Kristiansen; Soumare, Winks, Ndidi; Buonanotte, Vardy, Mavididi
Crystal Palace vs. Newcastle United
Selhurst Park, 2:00 AM, Sunday, December 1
After starting the season on an eight-match winless run, Crystal Palace have now lost just one of their last five matches. The Eagles were especially impressive last weekend in their 2-2 draw against Aston Villa at Villa Park.
Newcastle lost a very winnable game against West Ham at home. However, Eddie Howe’s team have won three of their last five. Last week could just be a minor blip.
Historically, these have been low-scoring games. Six of the last seven matchups have had less than 2.5 goals. Palace won this fixture 2-0 last year during their great run to close out the season.
This match could be the start of another big run for Palace, but we think Newcastle are more likely to bounce back and get a win here. Especially since Dan Burn will be back from his suspension, which should shore up the Magpies defence.
Crystal Palace vs. Newcastle prediction: Crystal Palace 0-2 Newcastle
Predicted Lineups
Crystal Palace: Henderson; Chalobah, Lacroix, Guehi; Munoz, Hughes, Doucoure, Mitchell; Sarr, Mateta, Devenny
Newcastle: Pope; Livramento, Schar, Burn, Hall; Longstaff, Guimarães, Willock; Joelinton, Isak, Gordon
Nottingham Forest vs. Ipswich Town
The City Ground, 2:00 AM, Sunday, December 1
Nottingham Forest have regressed a bit after their strong start to the season. The Reds have lost two straight matches. They conceded three goals in each loss.
A visit from Ipswich Town could be just what Nuno Espirito Santo’s side needs. However, the Tractor Boys have shown to be difficult to beat at times this season. Ipswich drew 1-1 with Ruben Amorim’s Manchester United last week, bringing their unbeaten streak to three matches.
Another interesting trend to watch here is Forest’s home form. Nuno’s team are actually worse at home than on the road. They are averaging a full half-point better per match away from home than at The City Ground. Ipswich have also been better on the road than at home this season.
The talent advantage is pretty stark here, so we’re backing Forest to win, but it could be a very tight match.
Nottingham Forest vs. Ipswich Town prediction: Forest 1-0 Ipswich
Predicted Lineups
Nottm Forest: Sels; Aina, Milenkovic, Murillo, Moreno; Ward-Prowse, Dominguez; Gibbs-White, Yates, Hudson-Odoi; Wood
Ipswich: Muric; Tuanzebe, O’Shea, Burgess, Davis; Morsy, Cajuste; Burns, Hutchinson, Szmodics; Delap
Wolverhampton Wanderers vs. Bournemouth
Molineux Stadium, 2:00 AM, Sunday, December 1
After starting the season with one of the toughest schedules in the Premier League, Wolverhampton Wanderers fans are enjoying a four-match unbeaten streak. They capped off this run with a dominant 4-1 win over Fulham in Matchweek 12.
Bournemouth, on the other hand, continue to struggle against non-Big 6 sides. The Cherries were convincingly beaten 2-1 by Brighton last weekend.
Wolves have lost just one of their last five matches against Bournemouth. Three of those matches were wins for Wolves. At the Molineux though, Wolves have been less convincing. Bournemouth have won their last two matches at Wolves.
However, the Cherries have struggled away from home this season. On average, they have picked up twice as many points per match at home than on the road. We think this will be the difference here–along with Wolves’ good momentum–so we’re backing Wolves here.
Wolves vs. Bournemouth prediction: Wolves 2-1 Bournemouth
Predicted Lineups
Wolves: Sa; Lemina, Toti, Ait-Nouri; Semedo, Andre, J. Gomes, R. Gomes; Bellegarde, Strand Larsen, Cunha
Bournemouth: Arrizabalaga; Smith, Zabarnyi, Senesi, Kerkez; Adams, Cook; Tavernier, Kluivert, Semenyo; Evanilson
West Ham vs. Arsenal
London Stadium, 4:30 AM, Sunday, December 1
West Ham forward Jarrod Bowen said the Hammers’ 2-0 win over Newcastle last week could be a turning point for the club after their slow start under Julen Lopetegui. Unfortunately for the Englishman, we think West ham are going to have to wait at least another week to get their season on track.
Arsenal are nine points out of first place, but they are still very much one of the best teams in the league. The Gunners destroyed Forest 3-0 last weekend with a rotated side before beating Sporting CP 5-1 in the Champions League on Tuesday.
Mikel Arteta’s side have an unbeaten record at the London Stadium going back to 2019. In February 2024, the Gunners embarrassed West Ham 6-0.
Say what you will about David Moyes, his Hammers were better defensively than Lopetegui’s side have looked so far. It won’t be another 6-0 win, but we’re predicting a big victory for Arsenal this weekend.
West Ham vs. Arsenal prediction: West Ham 1-3 Arsenal
Bookmaker | Tip | Odds |
Arsenal to WIN & OVER 1.5 Goals | $1.72
Arsenal to Score 2+ Goals - YES | $1.52
Half Time Result - Arsenal | $1.98 |
Predicted Lineups
West Ham: Fabianski; Wan-Bissaka, Todibo, Kilman, Emerson; Soucek, Paqueta; Bowen, Soler, Summerville; Antonio
Arsenal: Raya; Timber, Saliba, Gabriel, Calafiori; Odegaard, Jorginho, Merino; Saka, Havertz, Trossard
Chelsea vs. Aston Villa
Stamford Bridge, 12:30 AM, Monday, December 2
We keep saying in our EPL predictions that this will be the week that Aston Villa turn things around and they keep letting us down. The Villains have gone six matches without a victory.
Unai Emery’s side have been uncharacteristically open during this stretch, giving up 11 goals in their last five matches. It’s too early to say whether this is just the Villains struggling to cope with a congested schedule or whether this is a sign of something more serious.
A good way to quiet the doubts would be a win against Chelsea. That will be tough though as the Blues have scored in 11 straight EPL matches and are on a four match unbeaten streak.
On the other hand, Chelsea have not beaten Villa in regular time at home since 2021. Villa have won three of their last five matches at Stamford Bridge. Last year’s fixture ended in a 0-0 draw.
Chelsea vs. Aston Villa prediction: Chelsea 1-1 Aston Villa
Bookmaker | Tip | Odds |
Double Chance 2 - Aston Villa WIN or DRAW | $2.08
Both Teams To Score - YES | $1.50
UNDER 3.5 Goals | $1.63 |
Predicted Lineups
Chelsea: Sanchez; Fofana, Colwill, Badiashile, Cucurella; Caicedo, Fernandez; Madueke, Palmer, Neto; Jackson
Aston Villa: Martinez; Cash, Carlos, Torres, Digne; Barkley, Tielemans; Bailey, Rogers, McGinn; Watkins
Manchester United vs. Everton
Old Trafford, 12:30 AM, Monday, December 2
The Ruben Amorim era at Manchester United started with a bang against Ipswich Town last weekend. Marcus Rashford scored for the Red Devils less than 90 seconds into the match. However, they weren’t that convincing afterwards. Ipswich eventually got the equaliser and the match ended 1-1.
Everton also picked up a point last week in a fairly boring 0-0 draw with Brentford at Goodison. This result was the Toffee’s second straight 0-0 draw and their fifth consecutive match with fewer than 2.5 goals. Everton haven’t scored in three straight matches.
These trends bode well for Man Utd, but it also is a sign that they might struggle. The overwhelming takeaway from Amorim’s first match was that his side still had a lot to learn. Against an organised side like Everton, we could see them struggling to score.

Manchester United vs. Everton prediction: Man Utd 1-1 Everton

Everton: Pickford; Young, Tarkowski, Branthwaite, Mykolenko; Doucoure, Gueye; Lindstrom, McNeil, Ndiaye; Cavert-Lewin
Tottenham Hotspur vs. Fulham
Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, 12:30 AM, Monday, December 2
Tottenham’s up and down season continued last weekend with a shocking 4-0 win at Manchester City.
With that result, Tottenham became just the second team in Premier League history to lose a home game against a newly-promoted side before beating the reigning champions away in the following week.
This interesting bit of trivia shows just how hard it is to make EPL betting predictions about Tottenham. You truly never know what to expect. With that being said, we think they will do well this weekend.
Fulham’s 1-4 loss to Wolves showed that they can be had by teams willing to take risks. Additionally, the Cottagers have not beaten Tottenham away since 2013.
Tottenham vs. Fulham prediction: Tottenham 2-1 Fulham
Predicted Lineups
Tottenham: Forster; Porro Dragusin, Davies, Udogie; Sarr, Bissouma, Maddison; Kulusevski, Solanke, Son
Fulham: Leno; Tete, Andersen, Bassey, Robinson; Pereira, Lukic; Iwobi, Smith Rowe, Nelson; Jimenez
Liverpool vs. Manchester City
Stadium, 3:00 AM, Monday, December 2
Liverpool are nine points ahead of Manchester City and are the betting sites favourite to win the league this season, but the story heading into this game is all about Pep Guardiola’s side.
With Man City’s 3-3 draw with Feyenoord in the Champions League, the Sky Blues are on an unprecedented six-match winless streak. They have conceded more goals in November (15) than in the previous three months of the season combined (13). Besides the goals, Man City have allowed 37 big chances this season. They allowed 36 in their first title-winning season under Pep Guardiola.
Against Spurs in Matchweek 12, Ange Postecoglou’s team ran over 5 km more than City. They also made 41 more sprints than City and had 297 more intensive runs. Simply put, Man City look broken and tired.
Even Erling Halaand isn’t firing. The Norwegian has accumulated over 7.0 xG during City’s winless streak, but has scored just two goals.
City have historically struggled at Liverpool, winning just once there in the last six trips to Anfield. They haven’t given us any reason to think they will do well this weekend either, so we are picking a Liverpool win.
Liverpool vs. Manchester City prediction: Liverpool 2-1 Man City
Bookmaker | Tip | Odds |
Liverpool Goals Range - Between 1 & 2 Inclusive | $1.63
Liverpool to WIN | $2.10 | |
UNDER 3.5 Goals | $1.58 |

Liverpool: Kelleher; Bradley, Konate, van Dijk, Robertson; Gravenberch, Mac Allister; Salah, Szobszlai, Gakpo; Nunez
Man City: Ederson; Lewis, Stones, Akanji, Gvardiol; Gundogan, Silva; Foden, De Bruyne, Doku; Halaand
