Everton will go to Anfield in the first Merseyside Derby of the season. Unfortunately for Toffee’s fans, we can’t see this one being a fun visit to their cross-town rival’s stadium.  

The gap between Liverpool and Everton is enormous right now. We can’t see Everton overcoming it. In fact, we don’t even think the Blues will score at Anfield.Liverpool have given up a goal in all but one Premier League match this season, but they have looked more solid organised recently and Everton aren’t exactly big goalscorers.

Without Ivan Toney, Brentford are a much different side. Their league position this season makes this pretty clear. The Bees are down in 14th, and recently suffered a devastating last-minute loss at Old Trafford against Manchester United. With all that being said, we back them to beat Burnley this weekend.  

Vincent Kompany’s Clarets play a brave brand of football. That’s about the only positive we can say about them. Burnley are 18th with just one victory to their name. We don’t see them getting their second against the Bees. We back a Brentford WIN @ $1.75 with PlayUp Sportsbook.  

October 22, 2:30 AM, Stamford Bridge

Chelsea vs. Arsenal is the most high-profile match of EPL Matchweek 9, but we aren’t so sure it will live up to the hype. London derbies are notoriously cagey, so we’re expecting this match to be tight with few goals.  

The stats back up our prediction too. Arsenal have the best defence in the Premier League and Chelsea are notoriously goal-shy at this point. Because of this, we like UNDER 2.5 goals @ $1.87. The betting sites are split on this with over 2.5 goals having $1.91 odds, so you could get similar value if you think there will be goals in this one.
