We like taking Koepfer for a set in this matchup as it is his favourite surface, holding a 61% win rate which is his best across the 3 surfaces. Meanwhile, Medvedev has his worst win rate on clay which is 64%. 

Badosa 2-0 @ 1.80 

Unfortunately, for Brits we only see this match going one way and that is in favour of the Spainard. Clay is not Boulter’s favourite surface, her 3 losses on clay this season have all been while being the favourite. Badosa has also never lost in the 1st round in Paris. 

Svitolina -4.5 Games @ 1.80 

Svitolina was on her return to the sport this time last year, she managed to reach the final eight after a win in Strasbourg. Pliskova has lost the last four H2H’s between these two as her career is declining slowly. 

Under 18.5 Games @ 1.75

Their first meeting was at Roland Garros where Zheng led 6-0, 3-0 before Cornet had to retire. Zheng is playing fantastic tennis and should be a very successful player in the next decade. Cornet may struggle to keep up with the baseline game of Zheng on clay.

Hibino +5.5 Games @ 1.72

Pera should win this game, however when Pera is a short price she is always worth taking on as she has the game that can crumble. She only wins at 77% when 1.22 favourite but should be winning at 82%+ to profit as a backer. 

Fognini Over 17.5 Games @ 1.83 

A pretty competitive match between these two, Fognini should be looking to see this match as an opportunity to progress. He was won 18+ games in the 1st round of Roland Garros in 6 of his last 7 visits. 

Borges To Win @ 2.20

Kicking off our outsider treble is Nuno Borges, this price seems to have a squeak of value in as we make it closer to a 55/45 split. Borges recently made a run to the 4th round in Rome before falling short to eventual champion, Alexander Zverev. 

Van Assche To Win @ 2.20

Van Assche as an underdog in this match seems like a price to play. Shapovalov can batter Van Assche on his day but his A game is not consistent enough and getting less than a 50% break even price on Shapovalov not bringing his best game looks a good play.

Zhu To Win @ 3.00

This is a nice price for a player that wins over 50% of her matches when priced as a 33% underdog. Both players in pretty underwhelming form which could certainly help the underdog especially this price.
