NBA Multi bet of the Weekend| December 2

If you’re looking for a way to spend your Sunday, the NBA might have the solution. No less than 12 games will take place across the association, kicking off with an interesting all Californian affair between the Clippers and Warriors at 8am AEDT, before LeBron James and the Lakers end things with a clash against the exciting young Rockets’ kicking off six and a half hours later. With so many games on the menu there is plenty of NBA betting value to be found, and these are the three bets that make up our weekend multi.

Cleveland Cavaliers @ Detroit Pistons

December 3, 11am AEDT, Little Caesars Arena

You have to feel a little bit sorry for the Pistons. They do have some decent talent at their disposal, but it’s certainly not translating into any results for the time being. They have now lost 16 games in succession, many of them by a significant margin, leading to an NBA? Worst 2-17 record. They lost their last game by just six points in an improved effort against the Knicks, but that aside just three of their other 15 games during this losing streak have come by less than the line set for this game. The Cavaliers are not firing on all cylinders at the minute and are coming off a really disappointing loss to the Blazers, but now back at full strength they had won their previous two, including a 23-point victory over the Hawks, and will be keen to bounce back from their disappointing loss a couple of days ago. Teams are beating the Pistons with ease most games at the moment, and it seems more likely than not that will continue with a double digits Cavaliers win in this game. The Cavs should be able to cover the -7.5 line set for them by the bookies.

Indiana Pacers @ Miami Heat

December 3, 12pm AEDT, Kaseya Center

The Pacers and the Heat will lock horns for the second time in as many games on Sunday, and given their last matchup yielded a casual 274 points, the over looks like a good bet once again this time around. That certainly isn’t because of the Heat, who are generally a slower paced, lower scoring team, but they appeared more than happy to play the Pacers’ way last time out, and given they won by ten points there is no reason to believe they won’t do it again. That Pacers way has seen them fly over their points total the vast majority of games in which they’ve played; a huge 11 of their last 12 games have resulted in at least 244 points, over the admittedly high line of 241.5 points set by NBA betting sites. Plenty of their recent outings have gone substantially over that total, too; there was the 142-132 game against the Heat, while they’ve also had a 132-131 loss to the Raptors and a 157-152 loss to the Hawks in the last week or so. Their games are the highest scoring in the league by some margin, and though the betting agencies are setting their points totals pretty high as a result, this game should still sail over the 241.5 points.

Houston Rockets @ Los Angeles Lakers

December 3, 2.40pm AEDT, Crypto.com Arena

The last game of the day might be the most intriguing of the lot, with the exciting young Rockets set to take on LeBron James, Anthony Davis and the Lakers in Los Angeles. This will be a great test for Houston, but it will be mighty tough for them to come away with the win. This will be the last leg of a three-game road trip which has seen them head first to Dallas and then to Denver in the past few days, both games which they lost. Admittedly the Lakers haven’t been the most consistent team in the league so far this season, but they have been very good on their home court, where they have won seven of their nine games. In their last game they suffered a disappointing loss to the Thunder, but that was at the back end of a four game road trip. Now back on their home court, they should be able to get the chocolates against the Rockets, and though the odds suggest as much too, there is still some decent value to be had for the Lakers to win outright in a game they really should be winning.
