The standard is increasing, we hope to land some winners on the big players!

Carlos Alcaraz will kick us off at 4pm local time on Arthur Ashe, he is a huge favourite at 1.01 - we may have to look elsewhere for value on that one!

Four matches of men’s tennis and four on the women’s side, allowing us plenty of time to dig deep into the matches. We may look for alternative angles to side with some of the big players.

Swiatek vs Ostapenko

Women’s Singles, Round Four
Over 18.5 Games @ 1.83

This line seems far too low for me, Ostapenko has a 3-0 H2H record on the No.1 seed, she will certainly cause issues for Swiatek. It was a toss up between the plus games and the total. I have gone for the total as when in New York - Iga loves a bagel!

Kasatkina vs Sabalenka

Women’s Singles, Round Four
Kasatkina +1.5 Sets @ 1.93

Sabalenka is prone to the odd lapse of concentration, Kasatkina is the type of player that can take full advantage of this, she will be aware of the opportunity that Sabalenka can give to opponents. She can often give a streak of games away in succession.

Draper vs Rublev

Men’s Singles, Round Four
Over 38.5 Games @ 1.93

Draper has been mighty impressive, showing the world his true ability. Rublev has some first serve struggles and I believe Draper’s hard hitting style can punish this. I can see there being a lot of swings during this match - traders this is one to keep an eye on.

Multi Bet of the Weekend

Keys vs Pegula

Women’s Singles, Round Four
Pegula To Win @ 1.55

I think Pegula will have slightly too much for her American counterpart in this matchup. Keys can be dangerous with hot/cold days but Pegula is the more reliable of the two which represents her superior ranking of No.3.

Zverev vs Sinner

Men’s Singles, Round Four
Zverev To Win @ 2.20

I would expect this match to be closer to pick'em. I would not want to be a tennis ball in this match, both men absolutely crunch it. Sascha showed great form against Dimitrov in the last round and a similar performance should justify value in the 2.20 price.

Jabeur vs Zheng

Women’s Singles, Round Four
Over 21.5 Games @ 1.80

Jabeur was not at her best in the last round, and she said that her opponent kicked her backside, both women have shown signs of letting their opponent back into the match. Which is where I believe this 21.5 line looks generous. An outside play will be chucked into a bigger multi for this one.

Multi Bet of the Weekend

Medvedev vs De Minaur

Men’s Singles, Round Four
De Minaur Win & Over 40.5 Games @ 5.50

This match has the perfect recipe to go the distance, both men love a battle and the amount of balls played in each point should have higher average than the tour on this surface. A bit of a price play as I fancy De Minaur, I think if he wins it will go long.

Kasatkina vs Sabalenka

Women’s Singles, Round Four
Kasatkina To Win @ 3.60

Following similar thinking to the safer bet on this match, I have gone for the moneyline in this bigger priced multi.

Jabeur vs Zheng

Women’s Singles, Round Four
3 Sets  @ 2.20

As promised, this is the slightly riskier punt on this match. I believe it has a strong potential for over 2.5 sets with the way both women have been letting their opponents into their previous matches.

Multi Bet of the Weekend

That is all to round off the second Monday of the US Open. A few strong opinions in there that have been mixed around for a huge longshot with an attractive payout. Let’s hope luck is on our side of the court today!
