The Czech will be full of confidence heading into the US Open, picking up big ranking points in Winston-Salem.

His opponent has only beaten the World No. 633 in the North American hard season. 

Auger-Aliassime vs McDonald

Men’s Singles, Round One
McDonald To Win @ 2.38

I can see this price coming in further closer to the game. FAA has struggled for confidence in the past 8-10 months.

McDonald will have a home crowd and a good American hard court record under his name heading into this clash.

Tien vs Tiafoe

Tien with a wildcard into the main draw, an established ITF player. 

Facing a Top 10 player should prove far too difficult of a test for Tien

Halys vs Bonzi

Men’s Singles, Round One

Halys was mighty impressive at Wimbledon, I expect this grand slam form to continue against countryman, Bonzi. 

Halys should enjoy serving in New York and see great success behind the first serve. 

Frech vs Navarro

Women’s Singles, Round One
Navarro To Win @ 1.57

Navarro should have too much power for Frech in this matchup. 

She has also beaten last year’s finalist, Leylah Fernandez, on American hard courts this year. 

Masarova vs Sakkari

Women’s Singles, Round One
Sakkari -4.5 Games @ 1.85

Sakkari has beaten Pegula and Keys already in the USA this year, some signs of aggression should see her cover the spread in this clash. 

Masarova has only won challenger matches in the USA this season.

Stephens vs Haddad Maia

Women’s Singles, Round One
Stephens To Win @ 1.98

Stephens is a player I believe the market underrated in Grand Slams, her record is much more impressive in big events compared to WTA 250/500 tournaments. 

Ngounoue vs Saville

Women’s Singles, Round One
Ngounoue To Win @ 2.90

Ngounoue has deserved a wild card through to the main draw after picking up the Girls’ Singles title at WImbledon.

Saville can only be a threat when she can grind unforced errors from her opponents. At this price I am happy to take the favorite on.

We rounded off the multis with a monster in the women’s singles draw. Plenty of matches for us to keep our eye on as we should see plenty of value as the tournament progresses. Let’s hope for a full day of action after Wimbledon kept us fixated on the radars!
