As previously mentioned, I fancy Svitolina to shock the top seed. However, I think she will be pushed by the battling Pole, similar to her Round 4 clash against Azarenka.

I expect Sinner to take some time to adapt to the hard serving Russian, similar to the previous round vs Galan. 

I am confident in Sinner holding serve and having the edge in the tiebreak as he should be more competitive off the return. 

Pegula vs Vondrousova

Women’s Singles Quarter Final, 7pm

Both players in fantastic form, the left handed Czech should provide an alternate challenge for Pegula initially. 

On their day, both serves are above par for the women’s tour and this should ensure some lengthy sets. 

Sinner vs Safiullin

Again, following the angle of trustworthy serving in the initial stages of the match, this seems a generous price for just 2 holds of serve each.
