Racing Betting Experience
While reviewing BetDeluxe’s race betting, I found that the best part was following upcoming races, complete with countdown timers. There was also a huge list of domestic and international markets available, and the design and layout made betting easy and fast. There was also an option to keep track of my bets, with a pop-up betting slip which notified me of the status of the race I had just had a punt on. BetDeluxe offers all regular markets here, as well as quinellas, trifectas, exactas and the like.
Sports coverage
BetDeluxe’s sports coverage is sadly lacking compared to some other services, although major sporting codes can be found. Rugby league, rugby union, AFL and international football competitions are covered, along with tennis, darts, baseball, basketball and hockey. However, if you are looking for combat sports such as the UFC or kickboxing, you may be waiting a while as Australian regulations are restricted in this area for BetDeluxe punters.
Markets, bet types, odds
Races offered include Horse, Harness and Greyhound racing, split between Australian & New Zealand markets and International markets. I could choose to bet based on win/place as well as higher odds categories such as trifectas, exactas, quinellas, FirstFour or Quaddies.
The odds I found personally to be quite good for what I use a betting service for, although those hardcore punters may want to still shop around if they want to find the best current odds for their particular race or sporting events.
Banking, making a deposit and requesting a withdrawal
Making a deposit after signing up was super easy and very fast . Regular methods such as credit/debit card, POLi and bank transfer are available. I made my first deposit via my VISA debit card and it was credited to my personal account within minutes. I was able to keep track of my funds with a tab that was attached to each page visited on the site, notifying me of my balance and any pending bets I had placed. Withdrawals were done by filling out bank details on the “Withdrawals” page and submitting them to receive a direct Bank Transfer. This was the only option available from the user account page. I would have liked a wider variety of methods to collect my winnings, especially as the bank transfer took several days to process and BetDeluxe offers several methods to deposit.
Contacting customer support
Customer support is available via phone, email, post or their social media links (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram). The easiest way to reach out was via phone and the call was answered in seconds. Customer support was friendly and helpful, providing extra info on the best browsers to use for the site, how to download and connect to their app and how I could withdraw my winnings.
Mobile App
The BetDeluxe service includes access to a mobile app for both Android and iOS users. Download of the app is available via the Google Play store or Apple Store depending on your device. Simply download, login/sign up and you will have the same features from the browser on your phone or mobile device.
Conclusion
Overall, BetDeluxe offers very detailed and up-to-date racing markets, with form guides and other statistics for each race, presented using an intuitive design. The odds were personally decent enough, although if you want to bet on UFC, kickboxing, Muay Thai or other combat sports, it might be best to try elsewhere, as the emphasis was on delivering a track-side race betting experience.
